About Me

I have thirty years of clinical experience. My clients range in age from late adolescence through the ninth decade. I work with individuals and couples. I also provide consultation to clinicians.

I am psychodynamically and psychoanalytically trained and oriented, meaning that I seek to help not only with symptom management and alleviation, which is very important, but also with understanding what has created the discomfort or symptom in the first place and how it functions in your life.

Together we will explore and examine what is hindering your growth as a person or derailing you as a couple. I am dedicated to helping you live to your fullest potential.

I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), so I am able to incorporate cognitive behavioral approaches into the treatment as necessary.

I have taught at DePaul University, the Institute for Clinical Social Work and at the Center for Religion & Psychotherapy of Chicago.

Jill
